Dorothy A. Carbrey, 72, of Overland Park, KS, passed away November 27, 2010. Funeral Services will be 7:30 p.m., Thursday, December 2, 2010 at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, Ks 66204. Visitation will be 6:30-7:30 p.m. preceding the service at the chapel. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Charities, 9750 W. 87th Street, Overland Park, KS 66204.
Dorothy was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and moved to Kansas City in 1979. Dorothy loved arts and crafts and had a passion for volunteer and Charity work. She enjoyed garage sales and travel and spending time with her family. She was a avid reader and a sweet and kind lady that could smile and talk to everyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom in 2009. Dorothy is survived by 4 children: Barb Carlisle, Jerry Carbrey, Sharon McEnroe and Kathy Hofer, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
