Janice K. Garmon, 67, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at her home from Cancer. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 13th in Mission Memory Gardens, 23215 W. 75th Street, Shawnee, Kansas 66227. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Memorial Trees, to honor Janice, by the planting of trees in a forest with the greatest need (please see the Donation link below).
Janice was born on August 3, 1953 in Ottumwa, Iowa. She married Stuart Garmon in 1980. She was an Insurance Agent, housewife and the Mother of two sons. Janice also enjoyed plays, had an interest in politics and enjoyed lake-house activities.
Survivors include her husband, Stuart; sons, Zachary and Trevor; father, Bill Speer; mother, Kay Speer; brothers, Neil Speer and Bryan Speer; and sister, Patty Carlson.
