Jerre Ann Noland

Jerre Ann Noland, 81, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother entered into the loving embrace of our almighty Father, Thursday, November 10, 2011. She was a prominent member of the Shawnee, KS community for 60 years and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. She especially loved spending time with her family whom she loved with all her heart. To them she was part parent, part teacher and part best friend. She was a woman of profound faith and will be greatly missed by all those fortunate to have known and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother Hortense Ruth Newell. She is survived by: her devoted husband Don of 58 years; Sons: Hal, Mark, and Tim Noland; Daughters: Joy Cross and Jill Castillo; Grandsons: Ryan, Adam, and Joel Castillo, and Kent and Nicholas Cross; Granddaughters: Caroline and Victoria Cross; Great-Granddaughters: Sophia and Keilani Castillo.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shawnee. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00pm, with the praying of the Rosary at 7:00pm, on Monday, November 14, 2011 at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Dr., Overland Park, KS 66204. Memorial contributions are requested in lieu of flowers and may be made in Jerre Noland’s honor to the United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Kansas City, 3100 Broadway, Suite 330, Kansas City, MO 64111.
