

Louise Frank–Graham, 95, passed away peacefully at her home in Roeland Park, KS on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, with her loving family at her bedside after a full life of faith and spirituality, service and generosity, and helping those less fortunate.
Louise was born in Davenport, Iowa on June 21, 1930, to Daisy G. Bowen and Timoteo Gonzalez and was welcomed into the home by her parents and 6 siblings. Louise attended Newman Catholic High School where she thrived in academics and sports.
Louise was married in 1947 to Lyle Frank and had three children; Christine, Bruce, and Dianne, who blessed her busy life. As her life journey continued with child-rearing and providing a loving home for her husband and children, Louise continued her quest for knowledge, her love of music and her enjoyment of sports.
In 1960, Louise married Carl H. Graham, DVM, and by 1966, they welcomed Robert, Mark, Reid and Carla to the family. Together they settled in the Kansas City areas of Merriam and Roeland Park, Kansas. Louise was a member of St. Pius IX and St. Agnes Catholic Parishes, respectively, and enjoyed helping in the Catholic community by providing solace and comfort to her fellow parishioners. She was also a member of Mini Mundo, helping bring Spanish learning into the public school system. Louise was active in the arts, music, and sports in Kansas City and enjoyed attending her children’s and grandchildren’s numerous school, music, and sport activities throughout their lives.
Louise lived a life of devotion and loyalty to her family, friends, and neighbors and will be remembered for her cooking and baking (apple pies!), her crossword puzzles completed in ink, and steadfast faith and belief in God.
Louise is survived by her children, Christine Frank of Des Moines, Iowa, Bruce Frank (Cheryl) of Sterling, Illinois, Robert Graham (Natalie) of Leawood, Kansas, Mark Graham of Roeland Park, Kansas, Reid Graham (Pam) of Merriam, Kansas, Carla Hurst (Brian) of Frisco, Texas, as well as her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews, cousins, and god-daughter, Heather Sullivan (JC) of Ekron, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Carl Graham and her daughter, Dianne Frank.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16,2026 from 9:00-10:30 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church located at 5250 Mission Road, Roeland Park, KS 66205. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am. A private family inurnment will be celebrated at Resurrection Cemetery on Friday, April 17, 2026.
