Sandra Kay "Sandee" Coppage

Sandee was born August 10, 1949, in Borger, Texas to Allen and M. Della Thompson. Sandee graduated from S.M. South in 1967. She married Jeff Land in 1968 and divorced, then married Carl Coppage in 1983 and divorced.

She began her career with North Electric, later to become North Supply. She worked for Sprint for over 20 years retiring in 2012. Post retirement, she volunteered for the Lenexa Senior Center. She was a loyal Chiefs, Royals and NASCAR fan. Sandee loved cards and Bud Light. Sandee was a long-time supporter for wayside Waifs and Harvesters, memorial contributions may be given to them.

Sandee leaves her son, Jeff Land of Overland Park; her mother, M. Della Thompson of Garnett, KS; sisters, Alana Clarke (Rodney) of Shawnee, KS and Vicki Bradley (Stephen) of Phoenix, AZ; nieces and nephews include Jason Clarke (Erin) of Rock Spring, GA, Heather Campbell (Brian) of Terre Haute, IN, Jennifer Wade (Lindsey) of Kansas City, MO, Justin Bradley of Mesa, AZ and Amanda Bradley (Mark) of Scottsdale, AZ.

Her Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, August 26 with visitation one hour prior at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS 66204. Online condolences may be left at www.mcgilleyhoge.com
