Teresa G. Weiser, 94, of Overland Park, KS died July 25, 2012 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She was born December 2, 1917, at Odin, the daughter of John Boor and Louisa Beran Boor. She was a Great Bend resident since 1942 to 2004 when she moved to Overland Park, KS. She married Bernard Weiser in 1939.
Teresa was a member of the Church of the Ascension in Overland Park, KS.
Survivors include two sons, Cleo Weiser of Hallsville, TX, and Terry Weiser of Overland Park, KS; six daughters, Sharon Bosch of Jamestown, ND, Joyce Hochanadel of Red Oak, TX, Judy Thorp of Houston, TX, Jeanne Spece of Terrebonne, OR, Cathy Weiser of Overland Park, KS, and Karen Frederick of Overland Park, KS; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and her sisters, Cecilia Gerstenkorn, Topeka, KS, and Alice Schneweis, Hutchinson, KS. She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard Weiser; a daughter, Lillian Weiser; a son, Jerry Weiser; her parents, John and Louisa Boor; four brothers; and ten sisters.
Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. July 26th at McGilley & Hoge Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. July 27th at the Church of Ascension. Burial will be at Great Bend Cemetery on July 28th at 1:00 p.m.
