Warren H. Baker, age 90, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 29, 2014 at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, with visitation from 1-2:00 P.M. Saturday prior to the service. Interment will be in Louisburg Cemetery, Louisburg, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice Advantage, 6340 Glenwood, Ste 109, Overland Park, KS 66202.
Warren was born on May 6, 1924 in Plevna, KS. He served in the Navy during WWII as a Radioman. He worked for Southwestern Bell as a service technician for 30 years. Warren was an avid bowler and loved his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Winnie L. Baker. Survivors include his son, Wayne E. Baker of Overland Park, KS and his grandson, Kyle Baker and his wife, Katie of Olathe, KS.
