on September 23, 1963. He was the youngest of three children, and the apple of his mother’s eye. After a
hard but short battle with MDS, the Lord decided to bring him home on February 2, 2023.
Dean was a loving father, brother, son, grandfather, uncle, and best friend. He was lighthearted, quick
witted, and never missed an opportunity to put a smile on someone’s face or to get a crowd laughing.
Dean never shied away from a good time. He enjoyed his poker nights with neighbors and friends, taking
his grandchildren fishing, and playing in the community baseball tournaments. Dean always felt lucky and
that is why you would often find him scratching a lotto ticket. He also knew what it meant to work hard
and that is why he dedicated 27 + years to Taylor Farms as the maintenance supervisor. He will be greatly
missed by family and the many friends who had the pleasure of meeting him.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Rioux (Nathan) Corbin, Hollyn, Lennon, his son, Christopher
Alexander (Brittany) Kayden, Konner, his brother, Kenneth Alexander (Silvia) his sister, Janet Cutter
(Michael), nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held February 24, 2023 at Oviedo Cultural Center, 357 Center Lake Lane
Oviedo, FL. 32765, at 11:30 am.
In Lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made in memory of Dean Alexander to the MDS
“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalms 27:14
