Dear Mommy,
This is your daughter Maya Luisa aka Buttons. I want to let you know that there is not a day or even a night that goes by that I don’t miss you. As I reflect on my life, from birth till now you have always been my shining light. In every moment, that I can remember you have always been there for me unconditionally. Guiding me and showing me love between your hugs and kisses and even holding hands, you always seem to make everything feel right.
I keep on reflecting upon our happy days we have shared together just talking, laughing, going shopping, out to eat or even watching TV together. These among the many memories we have shared. But know that these memories, I will always treasure for they are a part of you and me. I know that you often told me to be strong, but to be honest I never knew that one day I need the strength and courage to bear your loss.
I wish you could come back, but I don’t want you to suffer. I know your love is everlasting and I feel fortunate to have mother and even father like you both. I promise that wherever I go and whatever I do, I will look up to the sky for the window view and at night I will look for a shining star and I will know that you and Daddy will be walking beside me and guiding me through the passage of life, until we meet again.
Love you always and forever,
Maya Luisa aka Buttons
