

He was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 1, 1949. George graduated from W.T. Clarke High School and received an Associate of Applied Sciences in Electrical Technology from SUNY at Farmingdale.
He married Virginia “Ginger” Sica on February 9, 1974, in Babylon, New York. George and Ginger celebrated their 50th Golden Anniversary earlier this year.
George and Ginger lived in Schenectady, NY, Saratoga Springs, NY, Algonquin, IL, and Cicero, NY before moving to Lake Worth, FL and subsequently Orlando, FL
For 25 years, George worked as a Test Engineer in Telephony for Siemens and then finished his career at St. Therese de Lisieux, in Wellington FL retiring in 2016.
George was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a Grand Knight. He loved his family and his church and had a passion for cars. He loved cruising in his bright orange (with a black racing stripe) Camaro. George never met a problem he couldn’t fix and was always finding ways to help others.
He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia “Ginger”, sons Michael George (Amy) and Matthew John (Lisa), and his granddaughters, Sophia Marie and Scarlett Olivia. Siblings, Marie (Jimmy), Diane (Jack), Lisa (Greg), and Robert (Sheenna).

A visitation for George will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 501 E Mitchell Hammock, Oviedo, FL 32765. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1501 N Alafaya Trail, Orlando, Fl 32828. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Queen of Angels Cemetery, 1901 Queen of Angels Drive, Winter Park, FL 32792.
