Joyce C Meints

Mrs. Meints was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband, Al Meints, husband Jay Boyd and husband, George Simmons and one son, George Baron Simmons.

Her family and friends were her biggest joy. She also enjoyed a successful career with AT&T, from which she retired in 1991.

She is survived by her 3 loving daughters, Dianne Nicholson (Jim, deceased) of Oviedo, FL, Sandi (Richard) Peery of Winter Springs, FL and Dottie (Alan) Parham of Asheville NC; two beloved grandsons, Rob Peery (Kelli) of Winter Springs, FL, Rich Compton (Tia) of Oviedo, FL; four beautiful great-grandchildren, Jazlyn and Cameron Compton and Lila and Parker Peery; one brother, Lester (JR) Cox (Mary Frances) Hot Springs, AR, one sister, Gail Burnette (Malcom, deceased) Texarkana, AR ; and a host of beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at the Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 29th, 2015. Visitation will begin at 10 am followed by a celebration of her life at 11am. Graveside prayer and interment will immediately follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home 403 South Main St, Hope AR 71801.
