Kenneth “Ken” Cornelius Gallagher Jr., 71 years old of Oviedo, Florida, passed away on November 3, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Altus, Oklahoma on August 8, 1953. Ken received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, his Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Master of Business Administration from Rollins College, Degree in Photography from Daytona State College and his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law where he ranked in the top 15% of his class.

Ken had a lifelong entrepreneurial spirit, owning several local businesses throughout the duration of his life . He had a long and successful 23 year career as a lawyer in the Central Florida area where he proudly opened The Law Office of Kenneth C. Gallagher. He was a member of the Florida Bar, the Michigan Bar, the Orange County Bar, and admitted to the Middle District of Florida United States District Court. He was a passionate photographer and avid traveler—traveling the world and capturing the beauty that it held. He became a Level 2 Certified Wine Sommelier in 2023, sharing his love of wine with everyone he met. He is known for creating the best Thanksgiving meal you’ve ever had and spending time with his family—including Wendell, his favorite pup.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth C. Gallagher Sr., his mother, Alice Gallagher, and his older brother, Patrick Burns.

A memorial service will be held at Knowles Memorial Chapel at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 9:30 am followed by a celebration of life reception at CityArts Factory in Downtown Orlando at 1:00 pm featuring an art exhibit showcasing selected photography from his personal work throughout his life.
