It's always sad to hear of a loved one lost to this life. My deepest sympathies to you from a Classmate. Fair winds and following seas to Mike.

I was Mike's roommate during Plebe summer. I have many great memories of that summer and our time in 9th Company. My condolences to all family and friends.

My deepest sympathies to the family of Mike. Mike had a mailbox at my store for the past 5 years and we would often converse. These were pleasant chats and I will miss them.

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing.....and I assume this is the Mike Hapeman from the Wedgwood neighborhood in Seattle. I am the younger sister of an old friend/neighbor/classmate of his - Steve Jones - and was trying to look him up to see if I could possibly invite him to an upcoming 60th birthday party I am throwing for Steve in Wedgwood. On behalf of the United States Naval Academy and the class of 1983, we are grieved to learn of Mikes passing.  May you find rest in His precious arms.  Fair winds and following seas shipmate.  Our prayers are for strength and healing for the family.

The entire staff at Baldwin Fairchild would like to extend their deepest sympathy during this difficult time.

Mike was a great Classmate (1983) and Company-mate (9th) at the U.S. Naval Academy.  He was the nicest, kindest and most even keeled person I knew there.  Extremely smart and squared away, he was always there for any of us.  In 2 Corinthians, 9:7, St. Paul wrote, "....for God loves a cheerful giver"; there is no doubt He (and we!) loved Mike.  We lost a dear classmate, but the heavens gained a wonderful man.

So sorry to hear this news.  I served with Mike in USS ALASKA many years ago and remember him as a good guy.  My condolences to his family and friends.
