Robert Herrick Sanger

Robert Sanger June 1, 1925 – December 17, 2016 Robert Herrick Sanger born in Peabody MA to Cecile (Rioux) Sanger and Richard Herrick Sanger. Robert had 3 sisters and 3 brothers all who have passed on before him. Robert graduated high school in 1942 and served the Marine Corps for 3 ½ years to which he was honorably discharged. Robert then went to Panama, Central America to work as a controller (Accountant) for Chiquita Brands International. While in Panama he met and married his wife Lois Yvonne Ball. They adopted 2 children Warren Herrick Sanger and Laura Ann (Sanger) Wise. Robert also had 4 grandchildren; Robert, Jennifer, Harry and Joseph. Robert’s passion was volunteering. Robert became a Master Gardner volunteer in Sebring, FL as he loved to garden and show his violets. He also volunteered 8 years for Florida Hospital Sebring, 11 years for Good Shepard Hospice and 7 years for AARP as a tax preparer in Sebring, FL. He volunteered 7 years for Hospice of the Comforter and 7 years for AARP as a tax preparer in Orlando, FL. For fun Robert would dabble in the stock market and play bridge. Robert expressed appreciation for a donation be made to Hospice of the Comforter at 480 W. Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 in lieu of flowers.
