“Shannon knew firsthand as did her father that, “Family isn’t always about blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs, the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to make you smile and who love you no matter what”. Her husband Steve who loved her unconditionally, Londa Duncan who founded her Faith and helped her find God’s grounding in her life and Michael McGolrick both friend and family for a lifetime held a special place in her heart.
Shannon loved God, animals and nature. Her favorite pastime was collecting nature’s treasures’ placing them in her prayer garden and nurturing them as they thrived. She loved her dog “Nova” unconditionally and they were inseparable to the end. Her love for animals gave her quiet moments of peace that she treasured. She enjoyed spending time with her people, pets and plants and will be remembered and missed by all that truly knew her.
