Sharon passed Sunday evening at her house on the River in Geneva, Florida. She was surrounded by her nephew, Thatcher Brown, cousins Ronnie and Kristy Fowler, and myself, her brother David Brown.
Sharon was taken quickly by Pancreatic Cancer. She entered the Hospital on February 15th and was quickly diagnosed. The cancer had spread to her Liver, Lungs, and Lymph Nodes.
She graduated from Belfast Area High School in Maine, then moved to Oviedo to live with our Uncle Bill and Aunt Ann Brown. She worked most of her life on the Lazy Sago Landscape Nursery which she founded with her ex-husband.
Sharon was passionate about plants, horses and most importantly, her dogs. She always had a number of exceptionally large dogs that she adored.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Howard Brown, mother Doris Brown and Sister-in-Law, Kimberly Brown. We pray that they are all in heaven now looking down on us and guiding us as we move forward in life! She is survived by her bother Dave Brown, niece Julie Brown, her partner Colin Perry, their daughter Pearl, nephew Thatcher Brown, his wife Kelly and their two sons Camden and Cooper, niece Kayla Marlette, her husband Tyler and their children Steele and Scout, nephew David Joyce and his wife Dr. Mel, and nephew Brock Joyce (Go Navy), as well as brother Paul Cook and his wife Jeannethe.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at her River House on the St. John’s River (2529 East Osceola Road, Geneva, Fl 32732) at 1 pm, Saturday March 28th, 2026. Food will be served at 2:30 and the celebration will continue as long as there are stories to tell.
