Thomas E. Zepp, Sr., of Orlando, Florida, passed away Friday, January 15th, 2021. He was born September 11th, 1940 in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Westminster High School and married his wife Mardene in 1958, and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1959. His service to the nation continued with the Baltimore-Washington Air Defense System until 1972, when he moved to Ft. Myers, Florida, and began a career in the firefighting service with the Lee County District. After reaching the rank of Lieutenant there, he was appointed department Chief in 1980 of the South Trail Fire Department. After a distinguished career he retired in 1998. He and Mardene moved to Orlando in 2012.
He is survived by his children, Tammy and Thomas Jr., and grandchildren, Leigh and Shawn.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life is planned for the future, after the ongoing pandemic is resolved.
