Virginia J. Andreski. On Sunday, July 23, 2017 this world lost a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. Our mother, Virginia was in the mist of planning a move to a new home to be closer to her family, when she unexpectedly lost her life. She was born June 9, 1931 in Broadalbin, New York to Samuel and Agnes Verrego and graduated from Broadalbin high school. Over the years she maintained a friendship with her classmates even if it was only through letters and phone calls. Shortly after Graduating from high school she married Edward Andreski and started a family. She worked hard raising and caring for four children of which the first three were one year apart. During this time they moved from Amsterdam, New York, Utica, Marcy and eventually settling in the Syracuse New York area. While raising her children, she also maintained full time employment. When her children were grown she went back to school to fulfill a lifetime dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. She graduated from Ononadaga Community College with a degree in nursing. She loved nursing and with each hospital that she worked in from Syracuse to Orlando, she quickly became a charge or assistant head nurse. She cared deeply about people and loved to be around both young and old. She moved to Palm Valley in Oviedo, Florida 15 years ago. At first she was very active in the homeowners association and the FMO but due to mobility issues was unable to maintain her participation. She will be deeply missed by her children: Daughters Candy Towsley of Casselberry, Florida and Sandy Witzel (Jay) of Stuart, Florida; Sons Jeff (Patti) Andreski of Hilton, New York and Rick Andreski of Norton, Ohio. She had 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Ambrosino and her brother’s Hank and Andrew Verrego. She was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Oviedo, Florida. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oviedo Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held 2PM Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. There will also be a funeral mass held in Liverpool, New York and she’ll be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dewitt, New York. A special thank-you to Dr. Schamberger for taking care of our mother for all these years, and to Freeman for his friendship to our family. We love you; mom with all our hearts and life will never be the same without you. Arrangements by Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home 501. E. Mitchell Hammock Rd. Oviedo, Florida 32765. 407-366-8999.
