

William John Turiak, known to all as Bill, 84, of Casselberry, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, after a long illness. Born in Bronx, New York on December 28, 1940, Bill was the beloved son of the late Rose Edith and William John Turiak. He was the oldest of seven children.
Following graduation from Saint Peter’s Boys Catholic High School, New Brunswick, NJ, Bill attended Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, graduating with a BA in Economics. Following college, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army; stationed in Fort Bragg, NC, which included a tour in Germany.
Bill’s career included employment with major corporations to include Martin Marietta, Northrop Grumman, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Johnson and Johnson, where he served in a variety of positions including production and inventory management, and training. After retiring from the corporate world, Bill became a business owner of a Texaco gas station and convenience store located in Satellite Beach, FL.
Bill and his wife loved to travel, especially cruising in the Caribbean Sea, visiting many islands and countries along the way. One of his most memorable adventures that he talked about was going through the locks at Panama Canal.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Betty Lou Turiak, his children, Christopher Adam Turiak of Hawaii, and Aubrie Rose Turiak of Melbourne, FL; stepdaughters Sherri Neff of Altoona, PA, Pam Leonard of Altoona, PA, and Tina Grimes of Melbourne, FL; step-grandchildren, Hunter and Cody Lyons, Shaunele Clapper, Danielle Clements, Brandy Shelton, and Nicholas Grimes; six siblings, Barbara Herman of Folsom, CA, Ronald Turiak (Kathleen) of Southampton, PA, Terri Shuttleworth (David) of Dillon, SC, Sue Brown (Walt) of Latta, SC, Toni Nance (Maceo) of Irmo, SC, and John Turiak (Sharon), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by William Herman, brother-in-law.
A funeral service for Bill will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm, St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 2021 W State Road 426, Oviedo, FL 32765.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AdventHealth Hospice or a charity of your choice.
