Anne Ramsey Blankenhorn

Anne Ramsey Blankenhorn passed away May 10 at Canterbury Woods at the age of 90. She was a graduate of Connecticut College and University of Cincinnati College of Nursing; she worked as a nurse for several years, a calling that meant a great deal to her. Anne was also a parishioner and active volunteer in the social justice ministries of St. Mary’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, Pacific Grove and All Saints Episcopal Church, Pasadena. She was preceded in death by her husband David H. Blankenhorn, M.D., and her sister Olivia Ramsey. She is survived by her brother Bill Ramsey; her children David Blankenhorn, Mary Losure, Susan Blankenhorn, and Chris Blankenhorn; their spouses Cynthia, Don, Penney, and Eileen; her four grandchildren David, Laurel, Michael, and Keith; and two great-grandchildren, Sofia and Erik. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 23 at 2:00 PM at St. Mary’s by-the-Sea, Central Ave. and 12th Street, Pacific Grove. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne's memory may be made to Union Station Homeless Services, 825 East Orange Grove Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91104.
