
“Sudy”

Carmel Valley – Cornelia McKenna Macdonald, known as “Sudy,” passed away on May 3, 2013. Sudy was born in El Paso, Texas to Gen. John and Alice Macdonald. She attended high school in Fort Knox and later graduated from Marymount College in Los Angeles.
Sudy settled on the Monterey Peninsula where she worked for fifty years in public relations and advertising for the Pebble Beach Company and Coldwell Banker Real Estate. She retired in 2012. Sudy was a talented writer and had a passion for road trips, current events and books.
Sudy is survived by her sister-in-law, Martha Macdonald; nieces, Gina Brimner and Tory Macdonald, and nephews, James Macdonald and Major General (retired) John Macdonald. She was predeceased by her twin brother, Sandy, and brothers, Scotty and Skippy.
A life celebration will be held for Sudy on Friday, May 17 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Jeffrey’s Grill, 112 Mid Valley Center, Carmel.
