Edward is the son of the late Joseph Kenney and Margaret Kenney O’Rourke, brother Joseph Kenney Jr, sisters Elizabeth Dubois and Margaret Driscoll.
Edward is survived by four siblings Martha Parker(Edward), Denis (Diane), Paul, Dorothy Mahoney (Kevin), sons Zachary, Walker, Taylor, Mason (Shelby) and grandson Colton Kenney.
Edward grew up in Rhode Island where he was an excellent athlete at Classical High School. He attended Loyola University in New Orleans. He was a real estate entrepreneur in Topeka, Kansas for several years. He excelled at handball and enjoyed that sport as an adult.
Mr. Kenney will be buried at Saint Francis cemetery, Wakefield,Rhode Island, at a later date.
