1976 - 2019
Elaina Jean Robertson passed away at her mother’s home on August, 23, 2019.
Elaina was born in Bellflower, CA on May 18, 1976. Her parents moved to northern California when she was six weeks old. She spent most of her adult life in the greater Sacramento Valley area and in the Monterey Peninsula. Elaina began her florist career right out of high school and demonstrated her talent in floral arrangement her whole life. Her unique talent and creative design made her arrangements remarkable. She worked for some of the finest florist shops in California. Elaina was very artistic and creative with crafts. She made many uniquely beautiful designs in her crafting over the years.
Elaina loved her two sons, Jeremy and Tyler, the most important part of her life. They were the lights of her life!
Elaina’s favorite color was red. Red clothes, red shoes and red hair. In recent years she would often wear all three earning her the nickname of “Red” with an occasional shift to blond from time to time. Elaina loved surprising people!
Elaina loved all things of the sea. Shells, fish, rocks and the beautiful seascapes of the Monterey Peninsula offered her some of her happiest times walking the shores and looking for that special find. Her collections of shells and rocks were precious to her.
Elaina loved music, all animals and celebrating Halloween. Elaina loved to help people in need often focusing on them when she should have been caring for herself. But this was Elaina. Elaina will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Jeremy DeBlois and Tyler Masters, her brothers and sisters, John Wright Jr., Michelle Montero, James E. Wright and his wife Stacie, Marcella Pogue and her husband Duane and Jason Wright and his wife Pueng, her mother Denise Robertson, her father Billy Robertson, her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many sorrowing friends.
Elaina will always be remembered for her courage during difficult times, and even though she took her life we know she is at rest, in no more pain, and with God now.
A celebration of Elaina’s life is planned later this fall in the Monterey Peninsula. Friends and family will be notified of the date. Friends and family in the greater Sacramento area planned a celebration on September 21, 2019.
In lieu of flowers it is suggested that you make a donation to your favorite mental health charity or treatment program in Elaina’s memory.
John 14: 1-3
1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God1; believe also in me.
2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
