Elizabeth M. Silvestri

Carmel ~ Elizabeth “Betty” Mary (Clarke) Silvestri, beloved wife of Louis, died at home, surrounded by her family, on November 4, 2013. Born in New York City, NY, on October 3, 1919, she was the oldest daughter of the late Mathew and Helen Clarke of Teaneck, NJ.

Betty is survived by her husband of 72 years, Louis; her son, Alan Silvestri and his wife, Sandra, of Carmel, CA, and their three children, Alex and her husband Chris Barber, of Alamo, CA, Joseph, of Los Angeles, CA, and James of Carmel, CA; her daughter, Betty-Lou Kullas and her husband, Robert, of Avon, CT and Carmel, CA, and their son Brian, of Brooklyn, NY and two great-grandchildren, Emerson and Aubrey Barber.

Betty was a 1937 graduate of Teaneck High School. She resided in New York City and Teaneck for 65 years before moving to Carmel, California in 1991. She was employed as an office manager for several doctors over a 25 year period.
