Jennie Marie Majcher

Jennie passed away after a long illness. She was married to Richard S. Majcher for almost 50 years. Jennie was a homemaker and loving mother to their 4 children, Debra Majcher-Gore (Bobbie); Becky M. Klop (William); David L. Majcher and Kathy Fox, and 4 grandchildren, Kristopher Klop, Nicholas Klop, Lori Parker, Clifton Majcher.

Jennie and Richard moved to Marina in December 1971 when Richard retired from a career in Army.

Jennie is survived by her 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her parents Lewis and Grace Varpness, her sisters Doris Hill, Irene Midboe, her brother Donald Varpness, grandson, David A. Majcher II and granddaughter Jordan Majcher.

Jennie met Richard when she moved to New Jersey when she was 17 and he was in the Army. They married and began having children, traveling to different states in the U.S.A. and also to Germany. Jennie loved to tole paint with friend, Alice. She enjoyed her grandchildren, playing scrabble and card games.

Jennie's memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., at The Paul Mortuary in Pacific Grove, California on Lighthouse Avenue. Then there will be an interment at San Carlos Cemetery following.
