Jennifer passed away after a long illness with her husband by her side. Born in San Gabriel, California, she attended Ramona Elementary School, Alhambra High School and graduated from Mark Kepple High School. Jennifer was a legal secretary for over twenty years in Los Angeles and Monterey. She loved the Holy Spirit, her dog, Valentine, cooking and baking and the early-morning sunrise over the Monterey Bay as she cheered her husband on when he was out fishing.
Jennifer is survived by her husband of fourteen years, Joseph Riso; her son, Carlos Solis; her mother, Suellen Foster; her sister, Ann Fries; her niece, Lilly Fries; her mother-in-law, Mary Ann Riso; her step-children, Joseph Riso, Jr, Deven Simon, Dr. Gennarina Riso (Bryson Bailey) and Giulianna Riso ; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, William Foster; her brother Tony Foster and her father-in-law, Vince Riso. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church in Pacific Grove on Thursday, February 24 at 11:00 AM.
