Merrie Ailsa Hewitt

Merrie was predeceased by her mother, Gretchen Patricia Hagger, and father, Rex Donald Hagger. She is survived by her husband, Tom Hewitt; daughter, Shawn Hewitt; son Stephen Hewitt;daughter-in-law, Tausha Hewitt; sister, Cindy Kalt, and grandchildren, Hunter, Makensie, and Milleigh. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, cousins, and friends.

Merrie had a love for finance, start-ups, and high technology and worked alongside many of the great teams at the original Byte Shop, Osborne Computers, Visic Technologies, C-Cube Microsystems, and many more. Business woman, passionate Monterey Bay Aquarium Guide and Volunteer, lover of dogs and cats, avid weaver, stitcher, traveller, and creator of prize winning art, she was always on the go. She loved teaching children about weaving and the ocean, new adventures in the family motorhome, and weaving, stitching, and sewing with cherished friends.
