Teofila Postrero Fuentebella

Marina ~ Teofila P. Fuentebella, a 32-year resident of the Monterey Peninsula, passed away at Community Hospital. A native of Vito, Sagay, Negros Occidental, The Philippines, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education prior to working as an elementary school teacher.

Mrs. Fuentebella was a member of the St. Anthony de Padua Society, the Sacred Heart Association, the Legion of Mary and the Third Order of Carmelites. She was a talented artist who particularly enjoyed drawing flowers.

Mrs. Fuentebella is survived by her children, Sylvia Christiansen, Sonia Driskell, Diana Malig, Lilia Fuentebella, Anita Punzalan, Eva Hinlo and Antonio Fuentebella and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julio, and her children, Edmundo, Eriberto and Estrella Fuentebella.

Visitation will take place at The Paul Mortuary Chapel this tomorrow and Sunday, June 15 and 16, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Angela Merici Church in Pacific Grove on Monday, June 17 at 1:00 PM.
