

Richard L. Golden, 82, a former resident of Oyster Bay Cove, NY, and Chesapeake City, MD, peacefully passed away in West Palm Beach, FL on September 18, 2021. Richard was born in the Bronx, NY, on November 13, 1938.
He was a graduate of American University. Richard went on to run multiple businesses in the garment industry in New York. Richard had a love for animals which was shared by his wife, Ann, and passed on to his children Lisa and Michael. He was fortunate to have had his loyal and loving companion Victor, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel, by his side for the last 14 years. Richard raced thoroughbred horses, owning Northview Stallion Station and Sycamore Hall Farm in Maryland. In addition to his devotion to animals, Richard had a passion for traveling, golf and spending time with friends and family.
He contributed to many different charities including becoming a Distinguished Grand Founder at Jupiter Medical Center and a supporter of Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans.
For the last 25 years Richard enjoyed living at The Club at Ibis in West Palm Beach, Florida. Richards loving wife, Ann, passed away in 2015. Richard is survived by his son Michael and daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Gregg Hofstetter and two grandchildren Sam and Ben.

Due to ongoing public health concerns, graveside services will be private and Shiva will not be observed.
