With profound love and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of a remarkable man—a devoted father, grandfather, partner, and friend. He leaves behind his beloved son, Brian; his cherished daughter Lauren, and her husband Tom; his brother Steven Stoller, his adored grandchildren Anna, Braden and his wife Nicole, and Evan; and his loving partner Jennie Eve, who brought joy and companionship to his later years.
Richard was predeceased by his twin Brother, David Stoller and his spouse Audrey Stoller.
He was married for 58 years to his high school sweetheart, Audrey, with whom he built a beautiful life, a family, and a successful business. Their partnership was a testament to commitment, humor, and shared dreams.
After a rewarding corporate career—and earning his MBA while working full-time and raising a family in Chicago—he and Audrey moved to Florida to be closer to family. There, he founded a thriving house-watching business, which became both a passion and a point of pride.
For more than 20 years, he was deeply involved in the community at Ibis Country Club, serving on the Board and the Architectural Review Committee. He was a familiar, beloved face around the club—especially at The Pub—and was known for his sharp wit, contagious laugh, and habit of making friends everywhere he went.
He filled his days with the things he loved: bocce, weekly Canasta and poker games, exercise classes, and long walks through nearby preserves. A true lover of the outdoors, he found peace in golfing, kayaking, camping, and watching the sandhill cranes wander past his patio.
A man of curiosity and quiet determination, he proudly completed a lifelong goal of visiting all 50 states, enjoyed international travel and cruises, and was an avid crossword solver. Recently, he achieved another milestone when he published an insight article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reflecting on his teenage job at Stanton Negley Drug Store—where he first met Audrey, beginning their lifetime of love.
Those who knew him will remember his unmatched sense of humor, his kindness, his leadership, and the warmth he brought into every room. He lived fully, laughed deeply, and loved endlessly.
