Roslyn Sylvia Matlick

Roslyn (Roz/Rozzie) Matlick of Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 86. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sol (just this past April) and her sister, Abby Falcon. She is survived by her bother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harvey and Arlene Matlick, her daughter Rena (Mike) Hall, son Michael Matlick, grandchildren Brian Hall, Sean (Catalina) Hall, Krystyna Matlick (Jaron Outlaw), Nick Matlick, Tyler Cleveland; great-granddaughter Luna Outlaw, and cherished extended family.

Roz was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Robert & Rebecca Falcon. She married Sol in 1957, and moved to Merrick, NY, in 1962 to raise their family.

Roz was the glue that held the family together. She was incredibly tech-savvy, enjoyed playing tennis, and loved to spoil her grandkids.

She was a dear friend to all that knew her and she cherished those friendships.

In 1990 Roz & Sol moved to Jupiter, FL, to be closer to family and they enjoyed their retirement years with dear friends and family. Roz loved Las Vegas and they made their annual 10-day pilgrimage there every December.

A chapel service will take place on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 12:00pm at IJ Morris at Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches with burial to follow. Shiva will take place after at 147 Ocean Pines Terrace, Jupiter, FL 33477 from 3:00-7:00pm.

Contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org (which she was diagnosed with in 2017).
