Sabina was born on December 5, 1945, in Malbork, Poland. She is predeceased by her father, Alfons Filip, and mother, Stanslawa Filip.
She is survived by her son, Patryk Filip; her sister, Teresa (Michel) Guichard; her brother, Frank Filip; her nephews Dominik Filip and Tomas Filip; and her nieces, Joana Filip and Magda Guichard.
