Barbara Helen Martin

Barbara Helen Martin, a beloved resident of League City, Texas, passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on June 15, 1950, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Barbara was the cherished daughter of Joseph and Helen Barbier.

Barbara dedicated her career to healthcare, where she made a significant impact as an RN and Administrator for United Surgical Partners International (USPI). Her selfless and generous nature extended beyond her professional life, touching everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

For 35 wonderful years, Barbara shared her life with her loving husband, Robert Martin. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Barbara is survived by her husband Robert; her son Nader; her daughters Isha and Rema; and grandchildren Caleb, Kynedi, and Cason. Her brother Mike also survives her. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Helen, her brother Eddie, and her step-son Jimmy.

Barbara’s personal interests reflected her humorous and vibrant spirit. She had a passion for antiques, cherished spending time with her family, and enjoyed the company of pets. Shopping and dancing were among her favorite pastimes, bringing joy and laughter to those around her.

A visitation for Barbara will be held on December 10, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Grand View Funeral Home, located at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas, 77505. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will commence at 2:00 pm. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.

Barbara Helen Martin's life was a gift that enriched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will be celebrated and cherished by family and friends.
