Beatrice Mary George

Beatrice Mary (Garcia) George, “Bea” of The Woodlands, Texas, peacefully went home to Jesus on Monday April 11, 2022 at the age of 94. Bea was born to Adam & Sophia Garcia on January 7th, 1928 in Amarillo, Texas.

Bea loved watching sports, sewing and spending time with family. She cherished the time that she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She especially loved reading scriptures from the Bible and her relationship with the Lord. She was happiest when attending weekly Catholic mass and receiving communion.

Bea was married to Rodney George for 47 years. She is survived by her son Michael George and his wife Penny; five grandchildren, Kristopher Stewart and his wife Sarah, Candice Faulk and her husband Garland, Leah Bolton and her husband Andy, Greg Valmain and his wife Victoria, and Corie Irvin and her husband Robert; seven great grandchildren, Aria and Ashtyn Stewart, Fisher Faulk, Taylor and Rosie Valmain, Bobby Dunn and Austin Irvin.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rodney George, daughters Sheila George and Carol Valmain, and grandson Ethan Palmer.

Honoring Bea’s request, a Christian Interment only service officiated by Fr. Vincent Nguyen of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church will be held Saturday April 23, 2022 at 10:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to please donate to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
