Berry received an honorable discharge after serving 6 and a half years in the United States Air Force.
Berry is survived by his beloved wife, Helen Wilson, three children and two step children, Stephanie Voth (Patrick) of Woodville, Texas, Jeffery L. Wilson (Carol) of Montgomery, Texas, Eddie T. Wilson (Elaine) of Coldsprings, Texas, Phyllis Windus (Rick) of Bacliff, Texas and Marian DeMarco of Pearland, Texas.
Grandchildren, Ashley Noel (Bryan) of Spring, Texas, Bradley Voth of League City, Texas, Caitlin Marie Wilson of Baytown, Texas, Travis Wilson of Montgomery, Texas , Trevor Windus (Paij) of Bacliff, Texas and Caitlin and Justin Windus of Bacliff, Texas.
