Billie J. Beevers Padgett, 80, of Baytown, Texas, went to be with the Lord on August 20, 2012. She was born on September 13, 1931, to Emma Windham Beevers and Loyd V. Beevers of Limestone County, Texas, near Mt. Calm, where she graduated from high school in 1947.
She lived and worked many years in the Houston, Pasadena, and Baytown area as a bookkeeper and accountant, until retirement from B7B Office Supply in Baytown. She was a generous, loving, caring, outgoing and fun person.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Ruth, Jimmy, Patsy and Sammy; her husband of 42 years, Billy Gene Padgett of Baytown.
She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Bradley and husband Gwen Dale of Bedias, Texas; aslo numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, friends and neighbors, many of whom called her "Aunt Billie"
Funeral services for Mrs. Padgett will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012, at 12:30 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home with interment to follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
