

Billy Frank Penick, Jr., age 63, passed away on May 25, 2026. Born on November 16, 1962 in Pasadena, TX, Billy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose steady presence will be deeply missed.
Billy built a life marked by dedication and reliability, serving as Maintenance Coordinator for Lubrizol before retiring in 2021. Beyond his work, he found lasting joy in the outdoors as an avid outdoorsman and tournament angler. He especially cherished time at his farm on Lake Sam Rayburn with his family, and he treasured the moments spent with his granddaughters, Reagan and Ryley. Billy was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, reflecting a commitment to fellowship and community.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, Frank Penick of Rusk, TX; and his sister, Peggy Penick Wright, of La Porte, TX.
Billy is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Jamie Penick; his mother, Winnie Penick, of Grapeland, TX; his son, Billy Penick, III, of La Porte, TX (wife, Fannie); his sisters, Debra Penick, of Deer Park, TX (husband, Mack), and Carol Penick, of Grapeland, TX; and his granddaughters, Reagan and Ryley Penick, of La Porte, TX. He is also survived by his sister-in-laws, Janyth and Chris McNeely, and Julie and Will Goodson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dogs, Jezzi and Maggie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, Yellow Rose Chapel, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505, on May 30, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
