Born on September 3, 1965, in Pasadena, Texas, Boyd was a man of grit, loyalty, and quiet strength. A lifelong Texan, he worked in refineries and industrial plants across the state, operating forklifts and heavy machinery for companies such as BP, Brown & Root, Shell, and Mobil. He earned respect with his hands, but he led with his heart.
Boyd lived simply and loved deeply. He was a son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
To his friends, a man you could count on. He didn’t need many words his presence alone spoke volumes. His life was a testament to hard work, loyalty, and perseverance.
He faced his ALS diagnosis with courage and grace, spending his final days at Everywhere Is Home assisted living community in Pasadena, Texas, where he received compassionate and dignified care. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his dedicated caregivers: Robin Herrington, Angelina Montoya, Morgan Harris, Jessica Wood, and Tareck Abdelhafiz for their kindness, patience, and unwavering support during his final journey.
Boyd was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Langham, and his mother, Linda Langham. He will be laid to rest in Grapeland, Texas, next to them.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Elaine Strickland and Mark Gill of Lewisville, Texas; his son and daughter-in-law, Brit and Sara Langham of League City, Texas; and his beloved grandson, Hunter Langham.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Grand View Funeral Home 8501 Spencer Hwy Pasadena, TX 77505. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and honoring Boyd’s life and legacy.
