He was born in Mission, Texas on March 4, 1927. He married Georgia Gonzales on April 11, 1959. Daniel worked for the City Of Pasadena for 35 years. He was also a member of St Hyacinth Catholic Church and American Legion Post 521.
He is survived by his children, Danny, Olga and Gilbert; grandchildren, James and Gilbert, Jr., sister, Cruz Lozano; brothers, Alejos Gonzales, Guadalupe Gonzales and George Garcia; and his dog, Scrappy Doo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Gonzales and Paula Hernandez Gonzales; son, Jaime Gonzales; 6 brothers and 1 sister.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway Pasadena, Texas 77505. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, 2921 Center St, Deer Park, Texas 77536.
