Don C. King

Don C. King passed away on October 15, 2010 in Conroe, TX. He was born on December 29, 1944 in Gladewater, TX to the union of Homer and Pauline King. Don is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Billy Romine; and brother, Joe John. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Trina King; 3 children, Jeffrey Donald King and wife Heidi, Bryan Wade King and wife Aislinn, Becky Gomez and husband Ruben; 9 grandchildren, Kayla Traylor and husband Randell, Tasha King, Autumn King, Rustin King, Jeffrey King, Mia King, Austin Gomez, Troy Gomez; expected great grandbaby, Kaylynn Traylor; brother, Larry King and wife Pat; mother-in-law, Billie Romine; sisters-in-law, Sherry Steinocher and husband Jerry, Debbie Evans and husband Mike, Marilyn John; daughter-in-law, Arlene Adams; special adopted Mom, Mabel McNutt; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Don was employed with Anchor Glass Company for 34 years, and was a member of Timber Lakes Baptist Church in The Woodlands. He loved his church family, fishing, taking cruises, visiting the casinos, and playing BINGO. Don loved spending time with all of his grandchildren and adored each of them. He especially enjoyed tea parties with his granddaughter, Kayla.

The family will receive friends for visitation between the hours of 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
