Dorothy Watson, 83, Pasadena, TX passed away Tuesday, July 9th, 2013 @ 7:21 pm at her residence. She was born on November 29, 1929, San Antonio, TX. Also preceding her in death were her father, Woodie Douglas English and mother, Lillie Ethel Shilling; husband, Raymond W Watson and son, Jack E Watson. Dorothy is survived by granddaughter, Sarah Watson from Pasadena, TX and grandson, Travis Watson.
She was a strong willed intelligent woman. She was very successful and achieved a lot in her life. She passed a lot of wisdom down to her son and granddaughter who has passed it on. She loved gardening and reading romance novels and playing the piano and being a great home maker and great mother and grandmother. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 14, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
