Ellie Jelene (Kimes) Holder, 87, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was born August 25, 1925 at home in Navarro County, Texas, just outside of Kerens, Texas. She was the last of 9 children to Thomas and Annie Collins Kimes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Holder; grandson, James Marcus Holder and all of her siblings. She is survived by 3 children, Guy Melvin Holder, Cynthia Jelene Mofley, and Kandy Blome and husband Richard; 6 grandchildren, Guy Mofley and wife Andrea, Bryan Mofley and wife Tamara, Nancy Minter and husband Wesley, Monica Green and husband Max, Kelsey Blome and Lindsey Blome; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren; and Robert Mofley and Madiko Holder. She is also survived by a very special caregiver, prayer partner and buddy, Mattie Crouch. Visitation will be Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 3PM to 6PM at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Monday, July 15, 2013 at 2PM at Faith Assembly of God 3940 Vista Rd. in Pasadena, Texas 77504. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
