Gary Dale Risenhoover, 69, passed away quietly at his home in LaPorte,Texas, after a short illness. Gary was born on December 19,1943, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, to Viola and Carmel Risenhoover. Gary was a long time resident of Jasper and graduated from Jasper High School in 1961. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. After retiring from Shell Oil Company he made his home in LaPorte. Gary leaves behind his daughter, Michelle; son, Pat and three grandaughters, Lauren, Madison and Camille. He had one brother and six sisters and was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home.
