Glenda Ann Maynor

Glenda Ann Maynor passed away on February 28, 2011 in Pasadena, TX at the age of 56. She was born on June 22, 1954 in Fayetteville, NC to Leroy and Ethel Groves-Maynor who precedes her in death. Glenda is survived by 3 children, Rosalinda Maynor; Steven A. De Leon; Michael Lee De Leon; 6 grandchildren, Jesse Facundo, Jasmine Facundo, Jalissa Facundo, Joseph Castillo, Mariah A. De Leon, Karishma L. Torres; 1 brother, Howard Lee Maynor and his wife Ruth; 4 sisters, Eleanor Yepez, Geraldine Reyes and her husband Raymon, Linda Barraza, Patsy Molinar; 9 nieces; and 4 nephews. Glenda was a generous, unselfish person. She was always available if her family was in need, and willing to sacrifice all that she had if that’s what it would take to ensure their well being. Glenda adored her children and grandchildren. She loved having gatherings with food, music, family, and friends. Glenda’s memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her. Glenda’s family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to her niece, Evelyn Yepez, for her constant devotion, and love during Glenda’s illness. Also, a special thank you to Dr. Mohammed Haq and staff for the compassionate care they extended to Glenda. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
