

Sue was born to William “Bill” Patterson and Eva Dell Baber Patterson in Freeport, Texas on October 2, 1941.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Eugene “Gene” Stephens known by her as “My Honey” and the love of her life as well as her son, William “Billy” Joseph Stephens.
A graduate of Jesse H. Jones class of 1960 she often shared tons of loving memories of her classmates and kept in touch with them through the years. After graduating she attended Massey Business Collage at night and graduated from there in 1962 while working at her first job with Prudential Insurance Company. She went to work in 1973 for ARCO Refinery until she retired in 1986. In 1988 till 1992 she opened her own business, Slender You of Deer Park until she sold it to help ageing parents of her husbands until they departed. After years of working part time for ENRON she finally retired for good and she and Gene traveled the world with their church family and gathered loving and cherished memories. They both enjoyed doing Mission work with the church as well as Habitat for Humanity. She was a Christian of the Methodist faith and loved her church. Her greatest role in life was being a faithful loving wife and Mother to her children and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she was blessed to be called “Mee Mee”.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 10:00 am at Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
