Hazel Giaccone, 86, passed on Friday evening, September 21st, 2012, having led a very full life. In death she joins her sister, Kathleen "Sisser" Fancett and her son, Ralph Giaccone. She is survived by her sister, Frankie Klocko, three grandchildren, Tony Giaccone, Lana Francois, and Jayci Giaccone, and numerous nieces and nephews, specifically Charlotte Baker of Deer Park who served Hazel like a daughter as age disabled her. Hazel was known for her fearlessness and most importantly her sense of humor. It is safe to say that she never met a stranger and always had something to say to make to make you laugh. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, and she will be missed very much.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at 12:30 p.m. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home.
