Helen Elaine Johnson Palmieri

Helen Elaine (Johnson, Avritt) Palmieri, 68, passed away on March 31, 2012. She was born June 7, 1943 in Belton, Texas. Elaine graduated from Deer Park High School in 1961 and received her Executive Secretarial Degree from Southwestern Business College, Houston, TX. She worked as Executive Secretary for the Presidents of two Export Crating Companies - Houston Export Crating Co. and National Export Crating Co. Elaine was a member of Center Pointe Community Church, Deer Park, TX. Elaine and her husband Rocco moved to Deer Park in 1975 when they married she continued to live in their home until her passing.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents Ruby Aletha and Raymond Clifford Johnson; husband, Rocco I. Palmieri. Elaine is survived by her children, son, Clifford Ray Avritt and his wife Eva; daughter, Ruby Kay Crawford; grandchildren, Ryan Ottele, Amanda Avritt, Cameron Ottele, Lee McDaniel and Brittany Tavera; great grandchild, Jordan Avritt.

A special thank you to Raymond and Carolyn Lovorn for their support when she needed them most. Also a special thank you to Pastor Bob Hotten that helped keep Elaine on the right path spiritually. There are so many people that Elaine wanted to thank for being in her life and she is saying it now..."Thank You...you know who you are."

The family will receive friends at Grand View Funeral Home Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home.
