Henry Christopher Harrison was born May 09, 1954 and passed to his eternal reward on Thursday, October 27, 2016. During the 62 years that Henry lived, he accomplished more than the average man. While he completed life’s mundane tasks, High School, (South Houston Class of 1973), getting a job (Purchasing Agent Texas Steel Conversion, Inc.), he also excelled in the exceptional tasks. Henry was a Boy Scout Leader. In High School, he became an Eagle Scout and took that accomplishment further by helping many of the young men of St. Pius V, in Pasadena Texas, become Eagle Scouts. His loving heart and caring soul never condemned the young men for failure, instead he bolstered their confidence and insisted that they could go beyond their self set limitations and that they could accomplish their dreams!
That same loving, caring aspect of Henry’s personality overlapped to his place of work. One young man at work, upon hearing of Henry’s passing, texted that Henry had taught him how to be kind and helpful to others. He learned that from Henry at work!
1 John 4:16 says: God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. This scripture fits Henry perfectly.
Henry left this world to join his Mom and Dad, Alfred and Marceline Harrison, in heaven. Henry had been suffering from Parkinson’s Plus for the last three years. He will no longer have to fight that dreadful menace. He is now healed.
Henry is survived by his wife of 21 years; Theresa, a step-daughter Starrla, and a grandson, Azreil. He is also survived by his seven siblings: Brother: Stephen and his son Tony, Sister: Marceline and husband Mark (Henry’s best friend for 45 years), their children Frances (spouse Jeff), Christina (spouse Richard), and Brian (spouse Cindy) and their grandchildren, David, Linda, Morgan, Addison, and Austin.
