Jay Bee Earles Felton

Jay Bee was born February 9, 1954 in Frankfurt, Germany to John Earles and Bessie Ruth Earles. She graduated from South Houston High School in 1972 and married Troy Felton on April 25, 1975 in Conroe, Texas. She and Troy raised two sons, Travis Felton of Houston, Texas and Seth Felton of Mount Belvieu, Texas.

She worked for Pasadena I.S.D. and as a stay at home mom before starting a successful career at M.W. Kellogg/KBR where she worked for 17 years. She had a passion for cooking, arts and craft, and family. Jay Bee loved the holidays and her creative talents became treasured gifts & memories for many family and friends. She came from a long line of great cooks and she showered her love for others through her food. Most of all, Jay Bee loved her family. She was always reminiscing or planning or partying.

Her family quoted: "I have made several of her recipes. And she planned the holiday menus months in advance. Just a month ago, on Mother's Day, she asked me what we should have for Christmas. I told her Prime Rib, mashed potatoes, and green bean bundles."

Jay Bee is survived by her husband, Troy Felton, her sons, Travis Felton and Seth Felton, brother-in-law Dominic Carriera, brother-in-law and sister-in-law William and Colleen Felton, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Paula and Ramon Serna, 12 nephews, 5 nieces and numerous, loving relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mom Bessie Ruth "Pat", sisters Sandra Mae Carriera and Paulette Ruth Reed, and her devoted schnauzer Ben.
