On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, Jeremy Ray Niemann entered his Heavenly home at the young age of 46. Born on June 7, 1976, in Houston, he was the second son of Linda Kaye Niemann and Donnie Ray Niemann. Jeremy lived his early life in North Shore, Texas, where he attended elementary through high school. Through his growing up years, he was an avid member of Uvalde Baptist Church, where he learned to love the Lord. Jeremy attended San Jacinto Community College, worked summers at the Astroworld amusement park, and later became a volunteer fireman for the Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department, where he served from 2009 to 2013. He later joined the Fort Bend County EMS as an EMT, and soon after became a licensed Paramedic, from 2010 to 2014. Unfortunately, his health became a factor as multiple health issues plagued him throughout most of his adult life.
Although his dreams to advance in a public service career began to fade, his desire to accel never did. After receiving an Associate Degree from San Jacinto College and attending the University of Houston, his declining health interfered. He decided to continue his studies of Public Safety and Emergency Management at home through online university classes. Through long hours of studying, hard work, and perseverance, he received not only a Batchelor’s Degree in Public Safety/Criminal Justice (Summa Cum Laud), but also his Master’s Degree in Public safety/Emergency Management (with Distinction).
Jeremy lived his later years with his mom in Como, Colorado, a small community west of Denver. It is a beautiful area with scenic views high up in the Rocky Mountains. Jeremy especially loved feeding, watching, and photographing the varied wildlife that surrounded their secluded home. He was also an avid collector of guns, knives, and other various things that piqued his interest.
Those left to cherish and honor his memory include his mom, Linda Kaye Niemann of the home, his dad, Donnie Ray Niemann (Linda) of Statesville, NC, his aunt, Cheryle Ann Johnson of Coupeville, WASH, sister-in-law Nikki Kipina (Kevin) of Friendswood, nephews Austin Niemann and Cole Greene, and niece Brittney Greene, all of Friendswood, as well as other family members and many friends.
A graveside service for Jeremy will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at External Service Location, 7301 Memorial St, Hitchcock, TX 77563.
